Dodo and Ndole can be eaten often, but mostly also made at big events such as weddings, parties. Dodo is just ripe plantains that has been fried in vegetable oil. Ndole is made from bitter leaf and groundnuts.

Roasted plantain and plum is street food which can both be made at home or bought on the street by road side sellers.

Miondo is made from grated cassava eaten with grilled fish.
